TERMS AND CONDITIONS of
Crystal Doors a trading division of Righthouse Limited (“Conditions”)
Please be advised that under no circumstances do Crystal Doors accept verbal orders. Orders must be placed via post, fax or e-mail. We ask that care is taken to provide correct contact details in order for our correspondence to reach customers in a timely manner.
All new customers to Crystal Doors are treated on a strictly proforma basis. Unless otherwise agreed with ourselves, cleared payment of the total value of an order is required before the items required are sent into production. Please note credit card transactions will incur a 3% charge.
On request, credit accounts may be offered to those customers with whom Crystal Doors has developed good working relations over a period of at least 3 months. Please note, we do reserve the right to refuse the opening a credit account. The amount of credit offered to a customer will be subject to a thorough credit check and the submission of satisfactory trade references with Eular Hermes. Unless previously approved, the terms of our credit accounts is strictly 30 days Nett, with payment for a month’s invoices due to be made promptly before the 20th of the following month. Any overdue accounts will be placed on hold, with the possibility of extra charges being incurred and goods ordered being withheld before the amount outstanding is cleared.
Any accounts which have not been utilised in a period of 6 months will automatically be closed.
Additions and Amendments
Crystal Doors ask that a minimum of 5 days notice before delivery is expected, for any additions or amendments that are to be made to an order which has already been confirmed. Such additions or amendments can only be processed if production has not commenced. If the items are in production, then costs will be incurred. Please note that additions or amendments cannot be accepted if our 3 Day Premium or 24 Hour Express Manufacturing services are being used, as such orders are put into production immediately when confirmation is received.
Crystal Doors endeavour to process and deliver all orders within 7 days of receipt. We also offer 3 Day Premium and 24 Hour Express Manufacturing services, at an extra cost of £20.80 + VAT and £46.80 + VAT respectively. Please note that these services do not take into account delivery time.
Crystal Doors deliver all orders exceeding £600.00 (excluding VAT) at no extra cost. Please be advised, however, that this excludes deliveries to Scotland.
Orders totalling less than £600.00 (excluding VAT) and being delivered within 100 miles of our premises incur a surcharge of £20.85 + VAT. Orders totalling less than £600.00 (excluding VAT) and being delivered in excess of 100 miles of our premises incur a surcharge of £33.85 + VAT.
It is Crystal Doors’ policy that notice is given within 5 working days of any items which do not fulfil the requirements of a confirmed order or which are damaged.
When such occurrences have been noted upon and signed as such on our drivers’ delivery notes, free of charge replacements will be issued promptly, usually within 2 working days.
When replacement items are delivered as a result of either of these scenarios, we ask that the incorrect/damaged goods are ready to be collected and to be returned to ourselves.
